1. Gorgeous Product

   For a while, I've been using a low end flip phone, I was happy with it.
   I wanted to go a step further, having best of both worlds, flip phone and Android. I searched a flip phone where i could installed certain daily use apps, chat apps.
   With the help of Kyoex, I was seduced by the SH-01J in dark blue. I'm very happy of my purchase. It was forth the wait.
   
   The phone is pretty big compare to my previous phone. looks solid with a little mirror effect.
   
   The button on the left side of the phone is used to open easily the flip phone. I remain cautious when i open it, there's a little "click" when I open or close it.
   
   The resolution of the screen is very good, high quality. I strongly advise you to ask for a film protection.
   
   The menu, the home page is like old flip phones, simple and basic.
   
   Touch Cruiser Ex is useful and innovative, you can navigate easily on apps not supporting phone keys.
   
   The external little screen is simple and good looking, bright. Has its led notification.
   
   Photos are good quality. the photo sensor has barre-code reader built-in. there is no flash on it.
   
   It has NFC.
   
   Typing sms is like the typing on a Nokia 3310. The system suggests you keywords and it remembers the previous words you entered.
   For non english person, the system doesn't have accented letters. I didn't found yet how to add them.
   
   Don't be surprised if you are unable to access mobile internet, you need to search how to configure it via your mobile provider.
   Check the frequencies related to your country.
   
   Phone communication are good, clear. The phone looks pretty big when you make a phone call, just a matter of taste.
   
   Good battery life depending on how you use the phone.
   
   The app market installed is good, not all apps will work in the phone, beware of malicious apps.
   
   This phone is ideal for making phone calls, send short messages, use communication app, check quickly e-mails or webpages, taking a few pics.
   
   I recommend it for all Flip phone lovers ;). Latest accessible Sharp flip phone. Pretty expensive but it's worth it :D.

2. Sleek, stylish, functional - a flip phone with smartphone capabilities

   After owning an older model SHARP flip phone running Symbian as well as a high-end flagship smartphone, I found the SH-01J to be the perfect medium between both worlds. The interface takes a moment to get used to when coming from stock Android, but becomes second nature with a few days of use.
   
   This device works best when used as a telephone or given light application tasks. I use Reddit, check my email, and give a quick google search every so often without troubles. The call quality is crisp and clear, even in the US with limited bands using AT&T/Cricket.
   
   The body design is slick and mirror-esque, which is both gorgeous and a fingerprint magnet. Thankfully, the waterproof features make this a non-issue as all parts of the phone can be quickly washed and wiped clean as new. The small feet at the bottom of the keypad can and will scratch the upper bezel of the screen, so I would recommend a screen protector if this will bother. There is something to be said about the beauty and practicality of Japanese design, and it shows with this SHARP device.
   
   Bluetooth connectivity is solid and consistent, though battery life will take a hit if used for too long of a time. The headphone adapter is a good choice if you're looking for 6+ hours of playback, though otherwise battery life is great and can last days without charging.
   
   Overall, a wonderful experience and I'll be keeping this as my daily driver until a newer model releases.. :) Hopefully Japanese companies will keep these now niche devices alive!

3. Excellent

   In the past i had a few flip phones,one was a Sharp. Now after a long time other flip phone. I'm very impressed,looks great,good display and even good photos and videos. Here in Italy the people look at me,or better,they look at the phone,because here most of the people don't use flip phones. I'm very happy and i think i'll get other one soon. Kyoto-Exports is always the best!!
