Came across an interesting article posted at Rocketnews24.

It discusses that, Japanese women might be more attracted to a man using a traditional Flip Keitai phone over a smartphone.

Here in Japan, we call the Flip phones "Garakei"

It has an unfortunate meaning, which combines the word Galapagos with the word Keitai (cell phone)

Basically it has a meaning of "not keeping up with the times" and being "not-trendy"

But despite this bad meaning, apparently there are Japanese women who think a guy is more attractive when they are using the traditional Japanese style Flip phone  ♡o｡.(✿ฺ｡ ✿ฺ)
